100th day

grace's teacher recently sent home a letter informing us that the '100th day of school celebration' would be held this thursday. in honor of the big day, students were asked to decorate themselves with 100 of something and wear their splendid creations to school. apparently the entire day is devoted to activities involving the number 100, and grace was eager to participate.

knowing we'd have no time tomorrow night to prepare (rapunzel on ice, here we come!), i gathered together beads and colored twine for a 100-bead necklace. grace loves it, and begged to model her new new accessory.
